Linda Brown, Secretary

Linda became a board member in April 2004 immediately following her three-week visit to Tumaini. Eunice (a fellow staff member with Linda at Denver Rescue Mission) was influential in sparking Linda’s interest in seeing first-hand what AIDS had done to the lives of Kenyan children. After her first Tumaini trip, Linda was 100% committed to helping these orphans. A CCU graduate with a BA in Organizational Management, Linda has worked in Human Resources for over 20 years. For the past 12 years, she has served as Human Resources Director for the Denver Rescue Mission. Linda considers herself to be one of those fortunate people who work in ministry, contributing her strongest passion – helping those who suffer from loss of hope. Linda’s husband Mike, a pastor in Arvada, shares Linda’s passion for sharing hope. Their son lives with his family in Littleton, CO.
