A: $400/month/child. This amount pays for the costs of housing, clothing, food, health care, medicine, and childcare by house moms.
Q: Are there different levels of Child Sponsorships?
A: No. We encourage our sponsors to decide what amount
is best for them.
Q: What about education costs?
A: Tuition fees are additional and vary per child. Because the
quality of public education in Kenya is inadequate for our
standards, each child attends a private school appropriate
for his or her educational needs. Please inquire through
Brenda if you are interested in providing a tuition
sponsorship.
Q: Are sponsorships paid monthly or annually?
A: You can choose either a monthly or annual option on the
sponsorship form online.
Q: Can you take my debit card information so I don’t have to
remember to send a check each month?
A: Yes. This is an option on the online form.
Q: Why are living expenses so high in Kenya?
A: Although Kenya is an impoverished country, basic living
expenses are very high. Lack of automation, a labor-
intensive work force, high petrol costs, inadequate road systems, and general inefficiencies in infrastructure
contribute to inflated living expenses in Kenya.
Q: Can I sponsor siblings?
A: Yes.
Q: How can I find out if my child has special needs?
A: Brenda can discuss this confidentially with sponsors.
Q: How do I send a birthday gift for the child I am sponsoring?
A: Please contact Brenda, and she can provide details for you
to send a letter or gift to your child.
